Advanced Wet-Felting Shoulder Bag Workshop

Winterbourne Medieval Barn

10am-1pm in The Cartshed

Create your own unique wet-felted shoulder bag with Felt by Fi. This workshop provides the perfect next step for those who have tried wet-felting before.

Coming from a family line of dressmakers, including for the Swedish Royal Court, Fi was always destined to create. Successful dressmaking ventures included made to measure pure silk underwear and lycra workout wear in the 90’s, but on discovering the wonderful world of merino wool and felting, Fi was hooked!

Inspired by her local countryside walks and worldwide travels, Fi Harris uses wet-felting techniques to create wonderful pictures and accessories out of merino wool, decorated with hand or machine embroidery and embellishments.  She offers the chance to design and create your own artwork in a welcoming and encouraging atmosphere.

So join Fi to create your own unique hand-crafted all-in-one strap shoulder bag, using the ‘resist’ technique and merino wool, silk fibres and other embellishments. There are four colourways to choose from.

The cost is £35 which includes all materials and tuition, but please bring your own hand towel and tea towel (they will only get wet, not ruined). Limited places. Click below to book online at ticketsource.

If you'd like more information about felting, contact Fi Harris via Facebook FELTbyFi or email below.
