Winterbourne Medieval Barn
2pm, 3pm, and 4pm
Winterbourne Medieval Barn, built in 1342, is a unique surviving example of a great medieval Barn built by a gentry family. Constructed using green timber methods, cutting edge technology for the time, it has been described as a magnificent example of the builders' craft.
The Barn has undergone a year of transformation during which time it was closed to the public. Be one of the first to tour around the recently completed building and renovation works and see the splendour of the Barn for yourself.
Book a free place via our website www.winterbournebarn.org.uk/events

Neighbouring St Michael's Church will also be open 2 - 5pm each day. With Monks Pool Nature Reserve next door, the Barn is an ideal starting point for exploring the local landscape.
If you can’t join us in person then we’ll also be putting up lots of digital content, including family activity ideas, and audio stories from our volunteers. Keep an eye on our social media for some surprises over the weekend!
