Felt Hat Workshop
Winterbourne Medieval Barn
10.30am - 3.30pm
Using natural wool fibres, wet felting techniques, friction and fun, design and create your own hat - serious or frivolous! Expert tuition from Fi Harris.
Coming from a family line of dressmakers, including for the Swedish Royal Court, Fi was always destined to create. Crafting activities have been varied but on discovering the wonderful world of merino wool and felting, she was hooked! Join Fi to be inspired and create your own unique hand-crafted makes. Check out Fi's Facebook FELTbyFi to see some of her work.
Participants will leave this workshop with a unique hat, new or invigorated skills, and a ‘How to’ information sheet with details of suppliers. £60 per person. Includes all materials. Maximum 8 people.
Free on-site car parking. Toilet facilities are available, and our mini cafe will be open serving tea, coffee, and cake. We'll have a 30 minute break for lunch, please bring your own packed lunch.
Safety is our priority so we will be seated in a socially distanced manner. When you book a ticket, please book for your group (up to 6 people) and we will group your seats together.
