Tea and Tour Open Afternoon
Winterbourne Medieval Barn
Held on the first Thursday of each month.
Join us for a cup of tea or coffee served with a talk in the Main Barn about its history, followed by time to look around the rest of the site at your leisure.
Winterbourne Medieval Barn, built in 1342, is a unique surviving example of a great medieval barn built by a gentry family. Constructed using green timber methods, the cutting edge technology of its time, this raised-cruck structure is a magnificent example of the medieval builders' craft.
