Yate Heritage Centre is joining forces with St Mary's Church to put on a community Jubilee event on the village green.

There will be entertainment and music from the different period of the monarch's reign throughout the day plus activities and food on the green with 1950s and 1970s food.

Kids can be decorate crowns and make cute corgi finger puppets!
In St Mary’s church there will be an exhibition of Yate’s transformation from 1952-2022. This will have a collection of photographs from Yate over the various decades and information on how our town has changed.

There will also be an audio-visual exhibition of TV from the 1950s until today, with clips from Muffin the Mule, Bagpuss, Peppa Pig and Number Jacks.
