HULF Talk: The Romantic Novel
Bethesda Chapel, Hawkesbury Upton
Hawkesbury Upton Literature Festival invite you to our second HULF Talk on Saturday 29th January from 2-5pm.
Come and meet four successful novelists talking about The Romantic Novel:
Jayne Davis from Charfield
Kate Frost from Bristol
Katharine E Smith from Shropshire
and me, Debbie Young, of Hawkesbury Upton
We'll be sharing:
our favourite romantic novels & novelists
our views on romance writing, past, present and future
insights into our own books and writing lives
readings from some of our own romance writing
The programme will include plenty of time for questions from the audience, and for informal conversations with the authors over coffee as we sign books for sale. We'll be happy to advise aspiring authors too.
The event will take place in the delightful, spacious setting of the Bethesda Chapel, Park Street, Hawkesbury Upton. Just 30 tickets are available to allow for social distancing, and admission will be only by ticket booked in advance - so book early to avoid disappointment!
The charge of £5 per ticket will include hot drinks and Valentine-themed cakes and biscuits, and a £2 discount voucher valid against a book bought at the event. So book now to brighten your January and get into the mood for Valentine's Day!
