Christingle Service
St Saviour's Church, Coalpit Heath
Our annual Christingle Service, in aid of The Children’s Society - a charity which provides comfort, help and support to disadvantaged and abused children.
We are hoping that a midweek service will encourage more families to come along and share a relaxed, ‘messy church’ type service, when we shall assemble our own Christingles, learn more about the work of the society, give thanks for their work and learn how we can help.
If you have a Children’s Society collecting box, you can bring it to the service or to church any time before then, for opening and counting.
There are more than 40 box-holders, so if you can hand in your box, rather than waiting for it to be collected from your home, that will be much appreciated. Last year, we raised over £1,000, thanks to your generosity. Let’s hope
we can match that this year.
