Have you been itching to learn some basic sewing machine skills? If so, this bag-making sewing workshop is the perfect start for you. In a 3 hour class you’ll make a beautiful, professionally finished shoulder bag complete with lining and pockets and all taught in a relaxed and supportive environment.
You’ll be given all the materials ready-cut with detailed instructions on how to sew your tote bag. Lauren will guide you through the whole process, showing you how to thread and use the machine and construct your bag, and she will provide plenty of tips and tricks on sewing techniques for you to use in future projects.
You’ll leave the workshop with new-found knowledge, confidence and inspiration for future projects plus you’ll take home a beautiful handmade bag you can enjoy for years to come.
Sewing machines and accessories and all materials will be provided. If you would like to bring your own machine please let us know via the booking form.
This sewing workshop is ideal for anyone with no experience, or those with a little experience looking for help to build their confidence in basic sewing techniques. The workshop costs £65 which includes all materials and tuition. Tea & coffee will be provided on arrival. Free car parking on site.
