Free Summer Fun: A Day at the Movies
Yate Shopping Centre
11am to 3pm by the Beach in the Central Square
The last week of August is the final opportunity for Beach fun and the climax of summer entertainment in Yate Centre so let’s make it a great one!
On Thursday, 29th August it is your chance to step into four amazing movie sets and take a selfie to replicate those famous Hollywood characters.
Andrew Lowrey, Yate Shopping Centre Manager: “It’s been a great Summer of events and fun at the beach and, to top it all, now is your chance to grab a photo on a famous film scene.
“Like all good things, the fun has to come to an end so the beach will be closing at 5pm on Saturday, 31st August but watch this space for more events taking place this year!”
Both events are free from 11am to 3pm with the Punch & Judy show taking place by the Beach in the Central Square. The four amazing movie sets will be in the different walkways and each will feature a blockbuster film - Ghostbusters, Cars, Jurassic Park and Monsters Inc.
