Yate’s Christmas Festive Fun day on Saturday, 23rd November will be a bonanza of dance, music and entertainment with local groups showing their talents and wooing the crowds.
There will be non-stop entertainment for all ages from 11am until 5pm when Father Christmas, helped by Elf on the Shelf, will bring a sparkle to the darkening skies by turning on the Centre’s Christmas lights from the hub of activities in Yate Shopping Centre’s Central Square.

It's the Christmas Tree Festival soon so we need help getting the Christmas stuff down from the loft and putting it up ready for the festival.
Can you help on Tuesday 26th Nov at 7 pm in St Mary's? We'll have a cup of tea and maybe some cake you never know. Last year we got it done in about 1hr.
We also need volunteers for stewarding at the festival on the 30th Nov and 7th Dec between 10:30 and 1pm, and 1pm and 3pm.

10:00 am - 12:00 pm or 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Enjoy some crafty Festive Fun! Join us in the medieval barn for one of our popular, inclusive and relaxed family crafting sessions. Activities are designed to occupy you for about 1.5 hours. Workshops are aimed at 5-11 year olds, but all are welcome. Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult at all times on site.
The Barn bar will offer a small selection of drinks and snacks (cash or card). We have a fully accessible toilet and baby changing facilities in the building. Do dress warmly as the Barn can be chilly in winter.
We have a limited number of free parking spaces on site, including 2 blue badge spaces. There is plenty of space for bicycles, and drop-off / pick-up.
