This year’s tree festival at St Mary's Church Yate has as its theme 'The Christmas Story'. It will open on Friday 1st December with an evening concert of colourful music from local group The Dixie Belles supported by Olga’s Ukrainian Choir, and will run until Saturday 9th December. Throughout the week there will be a variety of musical interludes, craft activities and refreshments.
Pot-grown Christmas trees will be provided in situ within the church ready for decoration. If you as a group, business, family, school, or individual would like to sponsor and decorate a Christmas tree at the festival, please contact us by email below for more information. Led by Rev Hywel Snook, Yate Parish and Rev Leigh Maydew, Yate Methodist Church.
Hosted by Friends of Kingsgate Park in conjunction with Yate Town Council.
10am: U3A Quilters Fundraising Craft Fair
Old Grammar School Rooms

In June this year friends, family and members of the U3A quilting group held their third fundraiser in support of the people of Ukraine. The event raised over £1200, which meant that the amount raised for Ukraine by the three events totalled £3000.
Our next Craft Fair will raise funds for the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity and Huntington’s Disease Association.
