1 hour litter pick starting at North Road/Millbrook Road Junction, Yate Industrial Estate.
In small groups, family bubbles, or individually we will head off in different directions, some towards the Frome Valley walkway, some around North Road, and anyone really keen even can do a bit of Station Road. The idea of doing along here is to help stop so much rubbish blowing into the river.
Also there are a lot of different areas we can cover and spread out. We have limited equipment so please let us know if you will be joining and if you require a picker so we can keep track. If you have your own equipment and fancy doing your own area please feel free to add bagged rubbish to ours and we will arrange collection for Monday morning. All rubbish will be left by North Road/Millbrook Road sign junction.
Kids must be supervised at all times, please be mindful of distancing, be careful when picking, anything dangerous will be notified to council, this can be a busy area but we hope as it is a Sunday morning it should be fairly quiet.
