Fused Glass Jewellery and Curve Workshops
Winterbourne Medieval Barn
10am or 1.30pm
Sarah Aumayer of Mydsomer Studio leads a fused glass Jewellery workshop in the morning and a fused glass Curve workshop in the afternoon. Each session lasts 2 hours.
Make Jewellery with the stunning colours of dichroic glass. This workshop offers flexibility in cost to make unique pendants and/or brooches. The basic workshop cost is £22 and includes one pendant or brooch. Additional items cost £9 each payable on the day (card or cash). Within the 2 hours you can make as many items as you wish. Some people will create items quickly, others will take their time – it’s up to you.
The Curve workshop offers the chance to design your own unique glass 'Curve' on a 23 x 8cm piece of (flat) glass. Sarah will have lots of ideas to inspire you, including some of her own work. She'll show you some basic cutting techniques to create your shapes, and give you tips on how best to get the finished look. The Curve workshop costs £35. It is suitable for complete beginners as well as those who’ve already caught the fused glass bug!
Sarah will take all items away at the end of the day to fire in her kiln and to finish pendants or brooches. You will need to collect them from the Barn about 2 weeks later - dates can be arranged.
Book either workshop online via the Barn website below. Free parking is available on site.
