Free Tile Making Workshop

9.30-11.30am, 12-2pm and 2.30-4.30pm
Join a free workshop to make a ceramic tile for a new public artwork in Coalpit Heath.
Artists Adam Blencowe and Thor ter Kulve will lead groups of up to 8 participants (including parents/carers) in a two hour class to individually produce clay tiles using just their hands.
Once fired these tiles will form the surface on the artwork, a new circular seat to be installed near the new play area at Blackberry Park later in 2021.
All are welcome but children must be accompanied by a responsible adult and tickets must be pre-booked.
