Winterbourne Medieval Barn

11am-4pm

Visit the amazing medieval barn built in 1342 and marvel at the skill of medieval builders.

Celebrate the Great British Orchard with apple displays and information, and experts on hand to identify apple varieties.

Enjoy a full programme of activities throughout the day, including ferret-racing, local crafts and rural skills, Winterbourne Down Border Morris, live music from Bygonz and the Frampton Shantymen, stalls, children’s activities, and lots more.

Excellent West Country food and drink available all day including hog roast, Wild Pizza, Harcombe savouries and sweets, Pudpuds, Barn Cafe, and Three Engineers beer made at the Barn. A great day out with something for all ages.
Adult £5, Child £1. Tickets can be booked online in advance to avoid the queues.

Free car parking at Winterbourne Academy and Stoke Gifford Park & Ride (near Parkway Station), with free shuttle bus to and from the Barn. No parking at the Barn (except Blue Badge holders - contact us to reserve a place). To avoid congestion, please do not park cars in Church Lane. If you can walk or cycle to the Barn, or get a lift or a taxi, please do.
