Remembrance Day Parade and Service
Poole Court, Yate
Yate Town Council and St Mary’s Church extend a warm welcome for everyone in Yate to join them for the Remembrance Day Parade and Service.
You are invited to meet outside Poole Court at 9.15am in order to parade along Poole Court Drive, Home Orchard and onto Station Road. It is anticipated that the parade will begin at 9.30am in order to allow sufficient time to assemble outside of the church and join the rest of the congregation at the commencement of the service.
Alternatively, go straight to St Mary's Church for the service which commences at 10.00am.
On completion of the act of worship, an act of remembrance will take place when wreaths will be laid at the Lych Gate and Parnall Grave at 11.00am. Following the laying of the wreaths, refreshments will be served in the Old School Building (St Mary's Youth Centre).
