Sight Support Community Hub and Social Group
Yate Library
10am-1pm (Hub) and 11am-1pm (Social) on the 2nd Thursday of the month
Our social groups are a place where people with sight loss can come together, share experiences, swap tips and tricks for living with sight loss and most importantly chat, relax and enjoy each other’s company. Our groups are run by friendly volunteers who will make you feel welcome. Sight loss doesn’t have to mean being isolated, so why not come along to one of our friendly social groups.
Run alongside this social group is a sight loss advice Community Hub where you can get information and advice on living with sight loss. A Community Sight Loss Advisor will be on hand with a display of daily living aids and resources that can help with everyday tasks. They can provide information, advice and guidance on anything to do with living with sight loss. This Community Hub is available on a drop-in basis, or you can book an appointment if you prefer. Please call Sight Support on 0117 3224885 or email us below to make an appointment.
Whether its advice and guidance you need or a friendly get together, we have something for you.
