Yate’s art scene comes alive as Yate Heritage Centre proudly presents its much-anticipated Art Open 2025 - a vibrant celebration of local creativity, expression, and community spirit.
Opening on 10th September at Yate Heritage Centre, the event will transform the space into a dynamic hub where art lovers, curious newcomers, and collectors can explore a diverse array of work from emerging and established artists alike. Admission is free and open to all.
The Art Open invites applications from a variety of mediums - from painting and sculpture to photography, mixed media, digital installations, textiles and more. Visitors will have the unique opportunity to learn about local creatives, their processes, and purchase original works directly from the artists.
“This event is about more than just viewing art - it’s about building community,” says Councillor Alan Monaghan, Vice Chair of Yate Town Council. “Whether you're an artist, collector, or someone who just loves being surrounded by creative energy, the Art Open is a place to connect and be inspired.”

Deadline is midnight on 3rd August 2025. Outcomes will be announced in week commencing 11th August 2025 - works will be selected by a panel.
