Austen in The Barn: Sense & Sensibility
Winterbourne Medieval Barn
Elinor Dashwood has a lot of good Sense. Her sister Marianne Dashwood has an excess of Sensibility. Together they make a snappy title for Jane Austen's classic novel of scandals, scoundrels and severely sprained ankles.
The Pantaloons are known for shows which are family-friendly, funny, physical, and feature live music and audience interaction. After huge success with performances at other historic venues with the likes of the National Trust, we are delighted to welcome The Pantaloons to the Barn for the first time.
Celebrating the 250th anniversary of Jane Austen, they will be performing her well-loved novel Sense and Sensibility, but with their own comedy twist. This funny, fast-paced and faithful new adaptation from the critically-acclaimed Pantaloons Theatre Company features live music, audience interaction, romance and heartbreak. This is sure to be a fun-filled evening!
