School and Community Choir Performances
Yate Shopping Centre
School and community choirs will herald the arrival of Christmas in Yate this year with three weeks of singing and music leading up to the Christmas break.
From Wednesday, 27th November through to Friday, 20th December there will be regular performances in Yate Shopping Centre by local school choirs with the Cancer Research UK Christmas Concert, featuring a wind band and a jazz band, on Saturday, 14th December.
Andrew Lowrey, Yate Shopping Centre Manager: “These community focused festivities always generate a very positive response and are very important to us as an integral part of the town. It gives parents and families great pleasure to see their children performing in public and is also a great boost for the many schools taking part.
“In addition to the music fiesta, Santa Claus will be in his Grotto from Saturday 30th November through to Christmas Eve so there will be plenty of seasonal fun and entertainment echoing through the walkways”.

• December 3rd 10.00am Bridgeway Federation School
