Abbotswood Primary was formed in 2001 when the Infant and Junior schools were amalgamated. It has since gone from strength to strength becoming a happy welcoming school, building links with parents and the community. We are proud of our wonderful school with its extensive grounds and wide range of facilities. The main focus for our curriculum is in the areas of Literacy and Numeracy which we balance with a wide range of real experiences and practical activities aimed at inspiring our children and broadening their knowledge and understanding of their world. Our school ethos is that we work together to Aim High: Believe and Achieve.

We are a highly aspirational school, where we aim to give pupils at Tyndale Primary a better chance of success than if they attended any other primary school in the country. This success will be based on children having secure knowledge in the key areas of reading, writing and maths taught within an engaging and creative curriculum. Children have high expectations of themselves and others, which is demonstrated through wearing the correct uniform, behaving exceptionally and sharing their success within the community.
OPEN DAY. ALL DAY. EVERY DAY. You don’t need an appointment, just come in and we’ll give you a tour.
